Bruce Rozenhart has over 30 years experience in public affairs and is a recognized expert in all aspects of communications.
From crisis communications, to conflict management, strategic planning, public relations, third party advocacy programs, public consultation, communications technology, publication design and video production, Bruce has seen and done it all.
Bruce works closely with clients in crises and develops common sense strategies. He’s helped open dialogue with disparate groups through honest, candid, direct consultation and facilitation. His work in developing citizens’ coalitions is extensive.
Bruce has developed strategies for economic and business development, in addition to creating repositioning programs for clients’ brands, policies and issues. His video productions have been recognized nationally and internationally.
Client Base
Bruce’s client base includes resources, energy, real estate development, First Nations, manufacturing, services, tourism, economic development and environmental services. He has worked closely on issues and policies related to First Nations, urban and rural land use, forestry, environment, sustainability, mining, economic development and transportation.
Accreditations & Awards
Bruce is professionally accredited with the Public Relations Society of America and the Canadian Public Relations Society. He also was inducted as a member of Lambda Alpha International, the Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics.
He is a recipient of Vancouver Board of Trade’s Chairman’s Award for community service, Tourism Richmond’s Community Service Award, and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his volunteer service to Canada.
Volunteer Work
Bruce is a community and business activist, and is currently a member of the BC Chamber of Commerce and Vancouver Board of Trade. He also is voluntary Executive Director of the Council of Resource Community Mayors of BC.
His past community voluntary activities include:

- Director, Britannia Heritage Shipyard Society
- Director, and member of the Executive Committee for Tourism Richmond
- President, Richmond Volunteer + Information Services
- Vice-Chair of the Lower Mainland Economic Sustainability Panel, a coalition of Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade from Hope through the Lower Mainland to Squamish
- Co-Chair, Richmond City Council’s Advisory Committee on the Environment
- Executive Director, Coalition FOR a Rapid Transit Solution – a coalition of 35 business, labour and tourism associations that lobbied the Translink Board to vote FOR the Canada Line after they voted 3 times against it
- Past Director of the Vancouver Board of Trade, and past Chair of the Board’s Small Business Committee
Education
Bruce has a BA in Journalism and Political Science from San Jose State College and an MSc (Mass Communications) from San Jose State University.
